Join us for a museum-wide party and premiere with director Werner Herzog in-person! Guests will be able to wander through all of the exhibits halls and rooms for a special celebration that includes live bands, djs, and a cash bar, all for free admission!!

Cinespia, In association with Cinefamily, presents the premiere of the new Werner Herzog 3-D documentary “Cave of Forgotten Dreams” inside the Natural History Museum’s Mammal Hall. Herzog will personally present his incredible new film shot in 3-D in the Chauvet caves of France, where the oldest human wall paintings on Earth are located. This is your chance to see it first, with Werner, surrounded by dioramas of the animals that lived in the landscape of our ancestors.

On the Whale Room stage:
Live performances by Nite Jewel, Islands, White Magic and Matt Baldwin starting at 8:30 pm

In the African Hall of Mammals:
Djs Dntel (aka Jimmy Tamborello of Postal Service), David Holmes and Carlos Nino will spin records from 5pm on.

In the Gem Room:
Dj collective Dublab will also host a second set of live performances from 5pm on.
