iconic face of rosie the riveter poster dies
Geraldine Doyle, the face of “Rosie the Riveter” died Sunday at the age of 86. she didn’t realize she was portrayed as Rosie until she was flipping through a magazine in 1982 and spotted a reproduction of the poster. Though she recognized her facial features, the strong arm wasn’t hers.
